Bio

Sam first developed an interest in house music as a teenager in the mid 90s. Numerous nights raving at Ark, and working the bar at Speedqueen, fully ignited his love of house music, which led to him to buy his first set of decks, going halves with his best mate to save money. It wasn’t until the end of the 90s he found his true love in vocal funky house, and after several years of bedroom DJing, finally plucked up the courage to showcase his talent in Leeds. After playing a few bars. More gigs and he has also set up his own funky disco/house night called Roost at Nest, Yeadon, which was really popular and will be starting up again post-lockdown.

Sam is also one half of the producing duo 2Cubans with Steve Richardson (Groove Technicians), and they’ve produced several successful house tracks together.

Bio

Good2Groove are a two DJ’s reigning from the North of `England who are Wayne Houghton and Scott Gilling (Gilly).
Having being friends for years, with a mutual love for Nu disco,disco edits & house music, it was only a matter of time that they merged forces. It all started (as many great things do) after copious cans of lager, back in 2012. After playing the odd gig together & constantly talking music they both decided to give it a bash playing as a unit. From there onwards they became to be known as the DJ’ing duo Good2Groove. Each having their own style that works well individually but when combined, it works brilliantly.

Bio

Lauren started DJ'ing around 10 years ago as a hobby. She has carved a distinctive and recognisable style of funky house and uplifting disco with a hard hitting tech vibe.
Playing at various bars and clubs around York, nights such as Glasshouse, Stinky's, Reboot, Mucky Duck and Upside Your Mind she has held residencies for both Limited Addiction and Haūs Moove. Her love of music and understanding of the local scene have inspired her to host various nights in and around York to showcase local talent, something which is extremely important to her, having been given the same chances herself when starting out.

Lauren has put together a great mix incorporating her own style through disco sounds. I am sure you will like it as much as I do.
