Justin Ton a.k.a Tonic TheOnly is a Johannesburg based artist. Bringing you sounds of deep house, dub techno, deep techno as well as minimal techno – in his own words, “I am here to keep it sexy.” This is exactly what he has always done – needles to mention the word “rookie”, Justin first started to learn the art of being a selecter in 2019 and with never looking back, he has performed with some of the best local “underground’ artists but mainly making a name for himself in the international underground scene.

Tonic TheOnly has featured on music podcats such as DEEP MVMT (London,United Kingdom), _Destruct & Selected (Berlin, Germany) T01 Radio (Johannesburg, South Africa) & Stimulus (SA) (Cape Town, South Africa). Tonic TheOnly is also host of the True Underground Sound (TUS) Podcast Series on SoundCloud which features some of the biggest names. With 8 single, 2 EP & 1 album releases to his name – curation is what you’ll find the him doing these days.

The main focus on this project for Tonic TheOnly is to show listerners that both both Deep Techno & Dub Techno is still very far from being abandoned genres. Drawing inspiration from the 2012 – 2015 Deep Tech era – he brings you the grooviest sounds with plenty hard hitting basslines and kicks that stay true to the name “Minimal Hertz”.🔊
