“More Than Enough” captures my ongoing journey toward self-worth and self-love. It’s a reflection of the struggles, realizations, and growth I’ve experienced along the way.

This journey began when I truly put myself out there, seeking connection and love. I tried so hard in so many ways, but nothing seemed to work (as reflected in verse 2). I fixated on the idea that I wasn’t enough—whether it was my looks, my personality, or something else entirely. One relationship, in particular, was a turning point for me (verse 1). I invested so much energy, but nothing ever happened. That’s when I started questioning everything—was it me? Was it my efforts? Was I just not lovable?

A conversation with a close friend helped me see things differently. They asked why I was so harsh on myself, constantly debasing my own worth. I realized I had been framing my entire sense of self around how I thought others saw me. But even if the world doesn’t agree on what’s “beautiful” or “lovable,” that doesn’t mean I’m not worthy. Beauty is subjective, after all, and love begins with how we see ourselves. Slowly, I began challenging that inner critic and telling myself, “I am attractive, I am lovable, and I am enough.” That moment marked the start of this journey.

I hope this song resonates with anyone who’s struggled with self-doubt or felt like they weren’t enough. Because the truth is, you are enough. And even on the hardest days, your worth is not up for negotiation.
