I Feel Nothing is open to interpretation, exploring struggles myself and those close to me face. The production pushes innovations within Trap such as mysticism, screams, clipping and distortion abuse, as well as the drums unique to the genre to its ultimate form. All this, while maintaining a progressive minimalism that is vital for invoking peak euphoria, artistic inspiration and mental detachment I think is essential to fulfilment. I Feel Nothing marks my first steps post the 'Apotheosis' album. I feel like the scene is prone to fall into a destructive and unstructured loop of recycled energies and themes. There is a lack of subtlety, respect and depth sometimes that I’d like to address through the aesthetics presented in ‘I Feel Nothing’ and its music video. I wish I had a better singing voice, better camera, better computer to edit with and more wisdom over all to truly honour the development of this brand new scene, but this is the best I have for now. Still, this is the beginning of a new album that pushes forward fresh visions, as well as refining my best moments from the Apotheosis album. Thank you to my wife for all her support and for helping me film this video and materialise these visions.
