Mr Cool...It's not an easy task to talk about Dj Cool. 20 years of turning day into night and vice versa, so it will be difficult to forget these lines. Strong believer and supporter of house music, he has chosen it as his religion in the census registration. Dj Cool started playing in 1998, in Tirana's nightlife, and after all these years, now his name is a guarantee for a memorable evening and great party.
Very active in Tirana-Prishtina line, Dj Cool has performed in the best clubs and also has shared the stage with some of the best Dj-s like, Little Louie Vega, David Morales, Satoshi Tomiie,Chus & Ceballos and many more.
To share his love for the music with others, is what he knows best, and this will go on and on for a long time...

Having temporarily expanded into a transatlantic ensemble, Hess Is More is once again back where it started, as Danish artist Mikkel Hess’ solo venture through the borderlands of pop, electronic, jazz, and experimental genres.

With Hess in full control of the process, what has returned to the fore is the personal edge, the subversive lightheartedness that runs so much of his early work.

It’s in this vein he now introduces the single ‘I Love My Life (Again and Again), officially out on December 8th.

“I Love My Life/I Fuck My Wife/Again and Again”

… Hess intones, the words drifting gently above an innocuous little drum machine beat. This is Hess cruising through the age of anxiety without a care in the world, poking at us, at our sublime seriousness. There’s a bit more to it, but we’ll let you figure out the rest.

The track is written, performed, and produced by Hess himself. The drum track is programmed on an old CR8000, and the main riff is played on a Bass VI, a bass/guitar hybrid famously employed by George Harrison. Some joyous Moog synths in the mix as well.

The album is scheduled to come out in April 2024 on Music For Dreams.

Hess Is More has spent recent years immersed in the critically acclaimed theatrical concert slash art installation known as Appolonian Circles, performing here as an ensemble. The project is still active, with the next shows being played at National Sawdust in New York in January 2024.
Hess Is More is also planning a tour coinciding with the release of the album in April 2024.

« Hôtel Costes presents... » is a collection of exclusive music recorded at Studio HC, the hotel studio, and composed by Masomenos and guests.

The first opus, 12 days a week, sounds like a modern tribute album to the chill out vibes of the Hôtel Costes legacy music collection.

Masomenos, composed of Joan Costes and Adrien de Maublanc, has a long collaboration with the french hotel music history. In fact, they have been in charge of the Costes presents serie, a minimal electronic oriented serie of albums by glacial, seuil and themselves, that hosted their first music project called “Costes presents BON VOYAGE”.

Since two years now, they have located their studio in the Hôtel Costes extension that have been on works, and named the place Studio HC. The music they produce there has shifted from a clubby energetic vibes to
a textured and organic down-tempo mood.

This first album @ studio HC definitively marks a new era in Masomenos sound.
