Up next on DPE is a Moscow based artist releasing minimal and deep tech records under the name Legit Trip. While this project only began in 2016, over the past couple of years he has already emased an impressive discography including releases on Little Helpers, Kinetika and more. Here we have a tasty three track EP that we are sure will delight his fans as well as followers of the label.
The title track ‘Grib’ is a low slung minimal house track which oozes groove and swagger. A stripped back drum pattern is derived from a crunchy house sound pallet and gives ‘Grib’ a rich and crisp feeling. The beat rides over sharp and punchy sub pulses and a warm synth pattern adds depth together with a well effected spoken vocal.
‘Dver’ takes things a little more dubby with a tight groove over ultra deep subs. A very intricately sequenced drum groove creates a bouncing vibe and keeps you guessing as new sounds and textures evolve throughout the track. A bright synth stab provides contrast and interest as the track creates tension and release moments around a dubby male vocal. ‘Where Are You’ keeps up the rolling nature of the EP and this time Legit Trip delivers a deep energetic groover. Dubby synths play off one another creating an intoxicating groove and texture. A series of short vocals interplay with the crispy drums and warm synth stabs to further cement the playful and dubby nature of the record and its infectious groove.

Italian DJ/producer’s Peppe Markese and Daniele Travali combine this May to drop their three track EP ‘Jumps’ on Hector Couto’s Roush Label.
Two rising names within Italy’s ever-growing scene, Peppe Markese and Daniele Travali have been steadily building a following across Europe over the past three years, gaining notable support from the likes of Marco Carola, Stefano Noferini and Leon in the process. Having previously combined to release on NOPRESET and Markese’s own Zoo Lab imprint, plus releasing further material on Deeperfect, ElRow Music and Lemon-aid Music to name just a few, May will welcome a debut on Roush in the form of their three track EP ‘Jumps’, which looks set to become a favourite for many in the months ahead. ‘Jumps’ kicks things off as the duo quickly go to work, employing precise, organic percussion patterns and crisp drum fills to produce a bubbling title track, before ‘Shining’ utlises a medley of filtered and echoed vocals, and skipping hats to build an infectious, rolling groove. Last up, ‘The Rain’ moves things away from the terrace and down towards darker settings, as menacing sub tones combine with harsher, metallic textures and hypnotic female vocal hooks to conclude the package.

DPE keeps them coming with a new release from Germany’s Ben Teufel together with Italy’s Francesco Parente. Both are established producers in their own right and have graced the catalogues of labels such as Decay Records, Be One, Brockwild and Low Groove. On remix duty we have Spanish artist Ivan Oliva. We are very excited to bring this awesome package that is sure to light some floors on fire this summer! The original single, ‘The Walking’ is a strong, rhythmic monster with a dark grooving energy that begs to be fired off at peak time in the coolest clubs around. Thick drums ride above a pumping sub bass groove which pulses energetically and pushes the track forward. An impactful vocal hook and tense fx bring ‘The Walking’ to a heavy crescendo and cement the record as a guaranteed winner.
Stepping up to remix Ben Teufel and Francesco Parente’s massive original cut is Spain’s Ivan Oliva, who is a regular contributor on Ben Teufel’s label, Antura Records. Here he imparts his own flavour to the production and delivers a version that stays true to the original, but certainly stands on it’s own as well. Oliva brings energetic high end percussion and hypnotic grooves to the table and lays down a high energy remix that perfectly compliments the package.

Archie Hamilton takes to his own Moscow imprint to release a collaboration with Panick Panick! label owner Noha aptly titled the 'No Hamilton' EP.

Leading off the release is a gripping house cut titled 'Lip Service', which showcases the dancefloor focused motif these two esteemed underground producers have established throughout their careers. With rolling rhythms and moody atmospherics, it's a track designed to whip any crowd into a hypnotic frenzy. 

The 'No Hamilton' EP, which includes two originals and a remix by SIT, is set for release July 13.

Premiere: Archie Hamilton & Noha 'Lip Service'

He's Back! Bassel Darwish returns to NoExcuse, this time on our main records imprint with his killer 'Dust' single. Bassel has built an impressive flow of releases already this year so we are glad to have the Catalan talent back with us for another visit after his release on our limited label in February. 

'Dust' is a stellar exhibition of Bassel's distinctly clean production ability, he is gaining a reputation for some of the heaviest yet smoothest of grooves on the market and this is no exception to that whatsoever. The track kicks into full swing with robustly formulated drum work, accompanied by an exceedingly catchy low-end bassline and lots of driven percussive factors. 

As the track progresses, it surprises you with an audaciously nostalgic vocal. The masterful use of such iconic sampling only adds greatness to what is already a track of substantial quality from the Spaniard. 

All in all, an extremely catchy track that no doubt will be featuring across some of the summer's biggest parties... a real terrace weapon!

Calling an EP “Devil” although it will most certainly conjure a smile on the face of any elctronic music enthusiast might come as a surprise, or even cause confusion. 
But let’s be fucking serious, when Boris Brejcha picked this title, he had probably no evil thoughts in mind but was rather daydreaming of one of his many shows that are known to turn any club into a diabolically hot sweat lodge due to the energetic atmosphere and ecstatic crows. 
So in the end you could arque that the title of his new EP seems long overdue. 

The name giving A-Side comes as clean and to the point as we know it from Boris Brejcha.
A rolling beat that never looks back but marches forward, driven by pure energy and nifty as hell. 
Let the speaking devil suck you into this dark piece of High-Tech Minimal and join the ride for almost the minutes. 

Right from the start “The Darkest Night” reveals an even groovier drive that makes it sound unstoppable. Furthermore the track turns out to be an emotional rollercoaster in the form of a roaring and intimidating fanfare that fades in and out before a catchy melody line spreads a thoughtful and intimate atmosphere. This B-side will definitely make you want to go for another round…and another round…

Last but not least this “devilish” EP will end “In The Middle Of Nowhere”. But unlike the name implies, Boris Brejcha is taking you right to his musical epicenter. 
Expect one of Boris’ most multifaceted tracks that prove why his career continues to skyrocket.
