'Hand In Hand' is a composition by Chris Fisher, written after attending a dawn vigil at the Bentley Blockade against fracking in late March. Through April and May this song was performed many times at Bentley and became a part of the growing repertoire of resistance manifesting at the blockade. During this time this song was also recorded at Bush Rock Studios, Goonellabah, with many Camp Liberty musicians and singers contributing to the production.  This recording is now complete and presented here to celebrate the success of the Bentley Blockade and as a preview before it's official release, more info coming soon. 'This song tells my story of forced childhood separation from family culture and heritage and finding my way home as a young adult. The song is dedicated to my Nan, best known as Aunty Minnie Townsend, for holding our family together as best she could (images of Nan, who is now passed, feature in the clip). It celebrates the strength, tenacity and ingenuity of our Elders and the legacy they leave for us.'
