Hekato is a DJ who has been on the scene since 2019. As a co-founder of the collective and the rapidly growing Całość label (@calosc), she has established herself as one of Poland's most recognizable talents. With a series of outstanding performances in the country, she has become a frequent guest in Berlin. She has visited such renowned venues as Anomalie, About Blank and the legendary Tresor.

Hekato has been involved in music and art since childhood. She learned folk singing and dancing as a child, and was also interested in painting. She is originally from Rybnik, but now lives in Wroclaw, where she is developing her musical career. Initially fascinated by deep techno, as time passed, she began to lean towards faster sounds, even weaving trance accents into her sets. Her performances are devoid of compromise, and she prioritizes quality and originality. Despite her strong onstage personality, Hekato is an introverted soul who expresses her emotions through music while taking listeners on a deep sonic journey.

Rethe is a DJ, producer and live performer from Wrocław, specializing in groovy and textured techno music. This young, though experienced artist is a frequent guest in the leading Polish clubs, he is also increasingly recognized on the international scene. Co-founder of Całość label and collective, he is also involved in the development of Wrocław's club scene, training many of the local DJs and producers, and balances work in the studio and live performances by conducting DJing and production classes, workshops and courses.

In his sets, he likes to be unpredictable, often combining extremely different genres and styles. He finds himself both in soothing, ambient sounds, melodic house music and rushing techno. In his productions, he combines space and lightness with a powerful sound, tailored to the club sound system, often weaving in live drums and self-recorded samples. His work was released, among others, in Berlin-based ARTS, as well as in many Polish labels.

JANE's sound is characterized by a piercing sense of musical vibrations, achieved through the use of low bass frequencies in her sets, featuring genres such as Techno Groove/Hardgroove, Bass, Breaks, Minimal, and Progressive House.

With her performances, JANE has already conquered the capital's venues and well-known clubs such as ∄, Keller and others. She has also performed in Berlin's RSO and Alte Münze, as well as in Warsaw's Jasna. She has performed at festivals such as "Brave!Factory" and "Брудний Пес", of which JANE is a co-founder, and is also part of the Polygon label.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Do you remember your first DJ set? What memories do you have from it?
𝙅𝘼𝙉𝙀: Yes, I remember it very well, it was in 2019 in a bar in Podil. A friend had an exhibition of her paintings and invited me to play. I played minimal and it was great. Everyone liked it, the first attempt wasn't a failure :))

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: What entertainment do you prefer besides music?
𝙅𝘼𝙉𝙀: Right now, my time is fully concentrated on music. I perform, organize parties and the «Брудний Пес» festival, teach DJing, and am starting to produce. I enjoy balancing everything related to music. I enjoy walking my dog, meeting friends and eating something delicious.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Any wishes towards the electronic music scene?
𝙅𝘼𝙉𝙀: To continue being an open platform for all creative expressions, both for experienced artists and young blood.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: A picnic or a feast?
𝙅𝘼𝙉𝙀: Definitely a picnic! Somewhere in the forests of the Carpathians.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Any plans for the future?
𝙅𝘼𝙉𝙀: Victory for Ukraine!!

The Radius

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Fabio Fabio. "Spezzatino Porcino" comes off the new EP of the same name, forthcoming on 42 records. The release could be described as progressive trip-hop, with Fabio Fabio (Marco Foresta and Mattia Ricco) roaming between electronic, tribalism, slow rhythms, and short casual moments from RAI 3 Radio and the sounds of the woods in Canavese. These elements become explorations of a mysterious tropical jungle: a provincial man who mutates into a man of the world.

A work unique in genre, it consists of 7 tracks immersed in various soundscapes that amplify the diversity of the ingredient mixture.

Martin, aka Olima, is a longtime (internet) friend from Aarhus, Denmark - a connection born through the early internet web 2.0, nurtured through music. Known for his releases under various monikers around the world, Olima crafts soundscapes that blend warmth, depth, and atmosphere into a distinctive sonic identity.

Following his contribution to our VA compilation Coping Mechanisms (Electronic Meditation), Olima returns with a full EP that encapsulates his trademark style: immersive ambient layers intertwined with subtle deep house grooves, guiding the listener through an introspective and emotive journey.

On remix duties, Berlins Daniela La Luz delivers a speedy reinterpretation titled Run Fast - a driving housy cut built for the dancefloor, adding a fresh and dynamic contrast to the release.
