I wanted to create a dreamy sounding track using only two chords, this was the result.

The Gate of the Dreaming Cosmos is composed in 2018 by Gavin Kwok. 
He was inspired by the concept of Flammarion Engraving for the use in CGI Animated Short Film "Sputnik " by Maxim Zhestkov in BIFSC.

Warming up

The past does not fade, it lingers in echoes and half-sung melodies, in the hush between each note she left behind. "Erindring" is the recollection of everything: the love that shaped the songs, the girl who inspired them all, and the future that will never arrive but still sings in memory’s voice.

A harp carries the weight here with devotion, but still apathetic. Its strings pluck pieces of time, modulating across remembered feelings, rewriting what once was as if memory could heal. Around it, pads drift like fog, barely present, framing the harp’s voice without anchoring it.

Eventually, the dream fractures. The coda descends into the surreal, like waking up mid-dream only to realise you were never asleep.

This is not an end, nor a beginning, just the one truth that remained: she was the centre of everything.
