Chris Grantham is a singer/songwriter from Memphis Tennessee. Growing up in a family full of singers and various musicians, it was only fitting that he’d pick up a guitar at the age of 10. By 13, he had put together his first band, and was writing music. By 21, he was playing shows in Memphis with former band 8 Days to Amsterdam. Following the break up of 8 Days, he put the guitar down for about a decade. This period of time was a tumultuous one, to say the least. Fueled by his worst decisions and failed relationships, he found himself at absolute rock bottom. Those experiences ultimately culminated in what would be the inspiration for the songs on his first full length album, “The Way Back”. In July of 2020, he went to work with friend, producer, and fellow songwriter David Cowell at Supernova Sound Memphis on recording the album. The album was released independently in April 2021, and is a testament to the struggles a person faces not only finding themselves, but finding their way.
