A quick piece Hefty and I threw together with a huge melodic death metal mid section for our epic guitarist friend Scotty Wright on his 21st birthday at Orion College Lismore (2013).

We were recording this during his birthday celebrations in my room just up from his unit then quickly rushed down and put it on the soundsystem to make for a surprise gift!

Happy Birthday Scotty

This is the sequel to my previous release. I wanted to take some of my favorite organic elements of Fallin' and move into a more organic sound overall. This is one of my most understated minimal tracks but I like the gradual dynamic rise and fall. It builds into a lush ethereal sound but it remains soft and warm and I like the way that feels. Thank you all for being on this journey with me, I hope this resonates with you.

I've always loved this Sting song and when Gus decided to do a version of it for his new album Orvieto I was well pleased.  Also well pleased about the company that I was in that being my old Crossfire buddy Doug Gallacher playing drums, Brendan St Ledger on keys, Scott Hills on percussion and the one and only Louie Shelton sharing guitar duties with me.    I'm playing the melody and Louie is playing the solo.   What a thrill ...
