This song is my attempt to write around a Bob Mould-style guitar line with all that toppy fuzztone. I was living in the snowy Midwest, dreaming of the West Coast. Imagine a drunken Lizard King fronting Husker Du.

Shoulda Been

This quieter Lo-Fi, Singer-Songwriter, Americana song is about every girl, or boy, who left the Midwest for the bright lights of Hollywood. It takes place in a dive-bar just off Hollywood Blvd.

My Pretty

About a Vietnam vet I knew. We took him to the American Lake Veterans Administration  hospital in Tacoma, Washington, and he was having PTSD flashbacks on the way. I felt his pain. It's also about the pain, marginalization, and rage we all feel.
