Danke Ilmenau. Der Abend hat uns mal wieder beeindruckt, wie sehr die Philosophie des Genre hier in Ilmenau gefeiert wird. Gerade Techno steht für Toleranz, Akzeptanz und Hedonismus.

Ihr hattet alle gemeinsam Spaß (einige auch bis Nachmittag 15 Uhr ;) ). Und genau das war unser Ziel.

SPOTLIGHT: Klappe, die Dritte

Gerade weil der einst partywütige Geist vieler zum neuen Jahr und nach ausgelassenen Feierexzessen nur sehr schleppend in Gang gekommen ist, sollte die erste SPOTLIGHT 2019 etwas besonderes sein. So haben wir uns zur insgesamt dritten Veranstaltung keinen geringeren als den in Leipzig ansässigen DJ und Produzenten Schlepp Geist in den Club geholt. Die Musik des technoiden Artist, die sich vor allem in Katermukke-Gefilden ansiedeln lässt, zeichnet sich durch deepe Sounds und satte Bässe aus- ein Charakteristikum, welches prädestiniert zu sein scheint, um es in den Tiefen des TBA Club`s wirken zu lassen. 

Neben ihren besonderen Gästen sei an dieser Stelle gesagt, dass sich die SPOTLIGHT-Reihe vor allem auch selber durch ihre Extravaganz beschreiben lässt. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Club-Formaten, bei denen es in Bezug auf die Künstler nicht selten zu einer hohen Fluktuationsrate kommt, wird hier eine Nacht lang ein bestimmter Act in den Mittelpunkt des Geschehens gestellt. Dabei geben regionale Artists dem ganzen einen musikalischen Rahmen und lassen einen jeden noch so partymüden Körper im Takt der Bässe wippen.

Also fühlt euch herzlich willkommen wenn es heißt: Wer hat noch nicht, wer will nochmal. SPOTLIGHT – Klappe, die Dritte mit Schlepp Geist.

Thank you so much Fusion Festival! 
This is my recording from saturday morning on Tanzwüste from 5:00 - 7:00. 
I'm still shaking when i think back to this magical morning & I had the time of my life leaving the messy world of thoughts behind and dance with you! You all are so enchanting, beautiful human beings and it was lovely to see all of you dancing and smiling <3

After a short break here we go again with a new LTMDCast from our resident MIC! From groovy sounds to pure techno, MIC makes you travel through genres with an elegance and a particular sensitivity developed through hours and hours spent on the decks. He best displays his talents on vinyls and already shared his incredible passion for music to the dance floors of clubs such as Sisyphos, Rummelsbucht or Christa Kupfer.

Also resident of Vinylwohnzimmer, the legend says he plays more than he sleeps… and that he always carries a record player needle with him... It is with great pleasure that we present you this carefully prepared podcast à la MIC, deep and melancholic yet groovy and percussive, the whole seasonned with a touch of poetry.

LTMDCast 009 - MIC

Hello friends,

This week is the turn of Tanzklar to ride the LTMD spaceship! And here is the delivery: a deep and powerful melodic journey through spacey atmospheres and rolling basslines. 

Whilst most famously known for his pumpy tech-house sound greatly influenced by the Berlin underground scene, he manages here without difficulty to show us other influences of his musical universe and bind together techno, minimal and progressive sounds.

You might have seen him shake the dance floors together with his numero-uno partner in crime @Sambake at numerous Kaffeeklatsch events where he also holds a residency or at clubs like Mensch Meier, Fiese Remise or The Lab (Brussels).

Most recent addition in the LTMD-resident stable, we are delighted to have his energy and positivity on board and are looking forward for more dancefloor action with him!
