Inspired by one of my favourite artists Rodriguez, this track resembles a tribute to Sugarman. Lyrics are song - album titles of different inspirations tied together without any coherence at all. Ale Moreno´s voice emphasises this lyrical disorder.

Winters Of Sleep

Last year I lived a tragical experience. Yoshimi mi dog who meant the world to me was attacked and killed by 3 German Shepards. Months earlier during the recording of this EP I had taped her barks by accident as she barked each time the doorbell rang. To her memory, I used the barks as rhythm base for the song.

Pequeño Can

Life fades into the light or into the dark. Little Wonder questions our existence in life. The way we have different perspectives, positive or negative depending on the way each person thinks. 
An inverted delay guitar replicates this idea connecting the different stages of the song.

Permanent Impermanence track titled the EP. 
The whole idea of this EP is to emphasise the understanding that nothing is permanent, that everything changes constantly. As humans we tend to base our happines on attachments: persons and things when in reality nothing belongs to us. The more we practice and understand this idea we can live a happier life appreciating each moment.

The third song from our upcoming LP. This one is one of our favorites. Enjoy

After experiencing his brother`s death, Chris Koehn architect and musician, enters musical composition as an introspective grieving process.

“Music for films” is released. A downtempo cover project focused on songs about protest, mainly 60´s. mixed at Toy Factory with Grammy producer Phil Vinal. Released by Cleopatra Records, Los Angeles.
 
Arranged and produced by Chris Koehn. Chris Koehn : voice, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, slide guitar, piano, percussion, string pads, glockenspiel, harmonica.

2017.
Releases his 2nd EP 
“ Permanent Impermanence” with Canadian/Mexican Indie label Arts & Crafts, mixed at Toy Factory with Grammy producer Phil Vinal. 
He performs in Babalú, Parker & Lenox and Imperial, where he meets Los Angeles record label CEO, specialized in cinema and starts working on “Music For Films” a EP cover project for films and TV. 
 
2013. 
Starts his solo project releasing 
“ Songs For Yoshimi ” a melancholic post punk EP with Indie Label Noiselab Records.  
2008.
Begins his early recordings. The first single dedicated to his brother’s death, is placed in a movie soundtrack. Afterwards he starts working on his first EP.

Life passes by, everything changes.
Everyone in their own way on the quest for happiness.
It is within that search where we can lose ourselves between so many thoughts and daily distractions.

When my brother died, that´s what he left me; A constant reminder of being here, right now. To value and appreciate that nothing is permanent. The more aware we are of it, the more we will value the present, accepting constant change.

In the end, although we all seek different goals or dreams, happiness is an end that we all have in common. Permanent Impermanence (title, based on the Buddhist philosophy of samsara (endlessness)), is my grain of sand to happiness in everyone. I am happy to see the end of my life, grateful for  being able to contribute in others happiness.
