I created this song on my Iphone during a COVID lockdown. I have always had the desire to share instrumental worship music. However I have always made excuses not to create and record it. This was never designed to be something perfect but rather something perfect for the moment. When I first started playing electric for this song I definitely started in my flesh. I can so quickly forget to just enjoy Gods presence. I wrote a sticky note on my wall at the start of the year just reminding me to enjoy (תהנה) His presence. Towards the second half of the song I move from my flesh into my spirit. As I just reflect on Gods mercy. I hope you enjoy this and remember and give thanks as you enjoy Gods presence.

This song is a collaboration with Lachie Smith. He sent me the sample of the piano that you will hear in the track. He also wrote this beautiful poem that you read above. We both clicked immediately on this idea of creating a altar with a invitation for all people to come and experience God. No matter there situation or status this will be a place of encounter and healing. The first four minutes of the track starts with a faint prayer in the background. I added this as the final thing as God was just moving in my heart through this music. This song over the past week of creating it has really become that place for me. Every time I listen to it God does something different. My prayer is that this music does the same to you. Enjoy x

145 is a demo of what is to come musically. These songs are created for you to meet with the living God. No matter how low you are or how far you have sinned. God is always worthy of praise and adoration.

We really want to create music not for fame or likes, rather the desire to create an altar for the lord. At the time of writing this I’m reminded how often I have walked away from God and would find him on the altar that I created for him in my room, just by looping my guitar and encountering Jesus.

This music is exactly that. For people who feel they are too lost to be Christian or can’t come to Church. This is a place for you to encounter the Holy Spirit. Jesus often created altars for people who did not fit the “mould.” Our prayer is that through this music you encounter Jesus whether you have walked away from Him, or discovering the love Jesus for the first time.
