Mary's Head (live)

A one-take solo keyboard version of an epic instrumental, "A Treatise on Cosmic Fire," from Todd Rundgren's 1975 "Initiation" LP. (I've  shortened the entire piece significantly by excerpting just two "movements" out of the whole -- the haunting "The Fire of Mind or Solar Fire" and the rowdy "The Fire of Spirit or Electric Fire.") The chords and progressions are unique and colorful. I think this is one of Rundgren's best prog compositions. If you've never heard it, you really should hear it with all the swirly synthesizers and the awesome intro and outro guitarwork.
