Carsten - Dreamrun (Parkway Drive Cover)

In this home-recorded demo, we follow the course of a standard domestic space flight from planet Earth to humanity's colony on Ganymede, the largest of the four Galilean moons of Jupiters. We follow along close to the vessel: Listening to the sound of the auxiliary engines igniting, to the roaring of the main drive, to the muffled sounds within the cockpit, to the soothing beeps of the stasis chambers. We witness the moment when the hyperdrive is engaged, and, after a percieved short time of travel, the spacecraft ultimately pierces Ganymede's atmosphere.

One of my old songs. We decided to pick it up with Territories, which resulted in the song getting a more rounded, more diverse overall sound.

Automata - Territories

This is a tentative recording of our song 'Doctrine Of A Leading Culture'. 

Since this one didn't fit into the tight schedule of our recording session with Thomas, I am now mostly working on recording all parts in my free time. So far I managed to get the programmed drums to sound somewhat natural, and my guitar lines double tracked over them. Throughout the song there is also a programmed bass, but I am going to get Panos' input on that as soon as possible.

In terms of writing this song was mostly and effort of Nils (guitar) and I (guitar, drums) with Panos filling in some of the crucial bass parts.

I will try to update this track each time I make some progress on it. Feedback about the sound, recording and mixing is more than welcome!
