Formally trained in Opera and Jazz, Fae’s performance style fuses these traditional genres with Hip-hop, Rare Groove, Soul and Dub – a unique sound that electrifies audiences when she performs with her live band.

Her second album ‘Outrospective’  moves on from the theme of intensive relationships and personal reflection - and instead projects outwards to a critique on the tensions between art and industry, communities and authorities, past and present, balance and imbalance. It is scheduled for release in 2015 BBE Records

Sweet Song

For Hip Hop Corner mix Vol.18, Wood n Soo chose to make a tribute to one of their favorite television shows - HBO’s Silicon Valley. Aside from being a hilarious and smartly written show, SV has an amazing soundtrack that has never been compiled into album format. Using only their favourite songs that were featured in the show (plus some choice dialogue clips), they cleverly crafted an homage that even the uninitiated will enjoy.
So over all you intertwine these two extremely dope turntablists with a solid splash of humour and you've got your self one hell of a good mixtape.
