Red Sky - Nimby [Premiere]

Fresh off releases for Ghost Snares, Ion Drive Music and Make or Break, Birmingham duo Red Sky return with a new four track EP built on 90s techstep grit and futuristic jungle identity.

The title track 'Stories' opens the project with dusty piano chords, rough drum work and a tearing mid bass that sets the tone straight away. 'Nimby' follows with a clear nod to classic Krust, rolling out a stripped back stepper vibe that locks perfectly into any mix.

'Told You So' switches the pace with detailed synth lines that wind through the intro before dropping into a heavy, punishing bass section. Closing the EP, 'Wey-Yu' brings a forward-thinking jungle approach, fusing raw funk breaks with cinematic sci fi textures for a proper late night trip.

Another strong body of work from a duo who continue to refine their sound with each release.
