It's been less than two months since the release of Miike Snow's sophomore album 'Happy To You'. It's not taken long for this Swedish collective to make the most of that time conquering the globe, most recently smashing Coachella. 

There is some serious hype around this act the moment, and with a string of high profile remixes from the likes of Dirty South to Wolfgang Gartner it's now the turn of wonder remixer and Berlin based DJ/producer Thomas Gold. 

With his latest record 'Sing2Me' going all the way to Beatport #1, Thomas returns on Axtone to deliver a truly stadium vibed re-work of Miike Snow's single 'The Wave'. While the original provides a melancholic soundscape centred upon a rolling military snare and crisp piano, Thomas takes these elements planting them alongside the vocal line in the midst of trademark synths, building to an epic melody fuelled rework.

First up on Axtone Records for 2016 is the ‘Lyon x Sapphire’ EP from Swedish newcomer and Axtone freshman, Klahr. 

After a glacial remix of Adrian Lux’s ‘Torn Apart’ featured as part of 'Axtone Ten', Klahr unveils his EP which fans may have heard across the stages of Tomorrowland via Axwell /\ Ingrosso, to the box of Ministry of Sound via Kryder; all from a producer whom has only just turned eighteen. 

The year has only just begun and as fans and listeners learn of this new young Swedish talent they are bound to be impressed by the genre diverse music that awaits them in 2016.
