This song was written due to corporate greed as they took the heartbeat from town.. 570 people lost their collective jobs at the Papermill which was known as one of the top producers of high quality paper.. They mill was sold to a father company and sold for scrap metal.. All the while the company claims bankruptcy and tries to withhold pensions.. It has devistated our small town. So as a person whos entire family was employeed by this scum company i decided to write a song to show support for my friends and family, and to shed light on our situation here in Maine!

Small Town America

This is a song about my Uncle and a very close family friend who both lost their battles with cancer... My uncle was diagnosed in 1984 and was given a few months to live.. HE KICKED ITS ASS and made it for more then 20 years and got to see his grandchildren!  I miss them everyday and I am happy that i wrote this song to remind me of them often
