“The Stars Are Sixes” is a meditative, spiritual instrumental for solo cello that reflects on the quiet comfort of letting go. Rooted in the idea that some choices lead to the same horizon, the piece embraces the notion that when the stars align—whether by fate or chance—the journey still brings you where you’re meant to be. Soothing, spacious, and celestial, the music invites you to breathe deep, look up, and trust that everything will be alright.

Here are some musical selections on the delicate side. A contrast to the bombastic film scores and theme park scores I'm often producing. These tracks come from various indie film projects, (mostly) consisting of instruments laying around my studio (cello, guitar, balinese gamelan instruments, bowed glass and metal) and a few featured soloists. 

I see these scores as part of a post-recession trend in low-budget scoring. Masting the home-made film score was not only essential for a composer's survival, it also evolved into an art form of its own.
