Marshall Tellers presents their first label sampler, entitled Broken Record Vol. 1. The compilation gathers weird and wonderful tracks from our roster, past present and future. The name referencing back to the last episode of our beloved cult TV show, Eerie Indiana, from where Marshall Teller Records was spun.

The sampler contains 12 exclusive unreleased tracks, including The History Of Apple Pie, featuring Gary Jarman of the Cribs, Cheatahs re work Geographic (National) from their recent debut, The Vaccines are morphed by Tom Furse from The Horrors, Great Ytene cover a classic Orange Juice track and Potty Mouth are live from New York’s Glasslands. The record also has exclusive new music from Echo Lake, Dignan Porch, Winter Drones, Joanna Skyler, Warm Brains, Parlour and Grass House. All will be featured on limited edition vinyl accompanied with a download code including some further unreleased tracks from label favourites Not Cool, MT supergroup Psychic Markers ( members from Grass House, Winter Drones and Great Ytene ) and Parakeet.

‘Feel Something’, the follow up to last year’s ‘Out Of View’ debut, features ten brand new tracks and was recorded over the last few months at Sublime Studios in London. Like it’s predecessor, the album was again produced and engineered by the band’s Jerome Watson with additional engineering by Joshua Third of The Horrors and Charles Reeves.

Formed three years ago, The History Of Apple Pie line up is centered around the songwriting partnership of Stephanie Min (Vocals) and Jerome Watson (Guitar) together with James Thomas (Drums), Aslam Ghauri (Guitar) and new recruit to the band Joanna Curwood (bass).

The band, who played last year’s CMJ Festival in New York, are set to announce UK and European Tours to coincide with the album release, in the very near future.

Punk? Dreampop? Alternative? SEASURFER are somehow all that and say of themselves that they are playing something like dreampunk. But that doesn`t really matter, What’s essential is what is inside ... and that's a lot: a charismatic singer, guitar without end, and a wild drummer in the back corner. It creaks and whistles from all corners , but that`s it: dirty, poignant, authentic. Good thing! Just a cool sound!

Formed in 2012 and having supported the likes of Nothing, Ringo Deathstarr, Paws and The Telescopes, The Cherry Wave are a noise-laden, fuzz-obsessed four-piece from Glasgow, Scotland. Taking equal inspiration from Shoegaze, Noise and Hardcore Punk, their approach has been to make music which is aggressive and urgent while also washed out, blurry and hazy. The guitars are like an explosion in a fuzz pedal factory and the vocals sound like they were recorded inside a black hole. This has resulted in them creating a very unique and individual sound.

Echodrone’s 2015 release, Five, heralds a sea change for the band in many ways. Musically, Five arrives at a destination first set by founding members Eugene Suh and Brandon Dudley, mixing reverb-drenched guitars with glitchy electronics and dreampop vocals to create a coherent mélange of tracks aimed to satisfy aficionados of shoegaze and IDM alike. Five also represents the next phase of Echodrone, realized fully only with the influences and songwriting input of new members Mike Funk, Jim Hrabak and Rachel Lopez.
Throughout Five, Echodrone explores the sounds of transitions. From arranging evocative melodies into unique pop song arrangements to applying standard rock band formats into 21st century workflows, Five takes everything Echodrone cares about musically and carries it into new territory.
Five is an auditory journey that mirrors the life of five individuals coming together virtually to create the fifth album of Echodrone. It is the cathartic soundtrack that maps the human experience through their eyes, as the quintet transitions from old jobs to new jobs, old friendships to new friendships, and old loves to new ones. To the band, Five is the perfect blend of shoegaze and electronic elements. They hope it is for you as well.

Welcome to our brand new split singles series, Nothing to Lose! For the first installment we paired up two exquisite Bay Area bands: Stockton's Surf Club (who released their debut EP with us in May last year) and Oakland's mysterious Manatee, who have put out a 7" and a flexi with the legendary Slumberland (it is simply coincidence, we swear, that Papa Slumber himself plays guitar for the quartet). 

Surf Club quickly follow up the release of their newest digital single "Heaven" with an even dreamier pop crystal, "Swoon." If you don't swoon to these young heartaches then I don't know what's wrong with you! "Swoon" is perfect for late nights where you wear your soles out and wear your heart on your sleeve.

Manatee round out the b-side with two grade-A stompers. The instrumental "Theme (Dugong Sing-Along)" will certainly get your heart pumping while their bombastic cover of the legendary Big Boys' "Which Way To Go" will literally draw blood. Literally. Ideal for slamming cheap beer and thrashing with your long-time bffs or blacking out alone in your apartment playing a mean (and we mean FURIOUS) air guitar.

This is a SUPER limited edition split 7" and these two songs will never be available anywhere else EVER!
