Felis catus: The domestic cat

A windy day at Lythe just outside Whitby. You can hear the fairground organ, old agricultural engines in a working display, tea taken outside and the sounds within a tent as it is buffeted by the strong winds.

Recorded on the 4th November using binaural microphones.

The first part is rain falling on bunches of party balloons hanging in a shop doorway on Flowergate, Whitby.

The second section is a goth girl telling a story to her friend in a nearby coffee shop.

This is a binaural recording of a chap dismantling his market stall and loading it into a van. It was made on a cold December evening in the old market place at Whitby, on the North East coast of England.
