This month’s episode is a special one — I'm super excited to share my live recording from Komm Schon Alter Festival last month. After last year’s amazing edition, I was super excited—and honestly, a little bit nervous—to return. Especially since the weather forecast wasn’t looking great. But luckily, the skies cleared up right as my set started, and I got to share some truly beautiful moments with everyone. Absolute one of highlight of my summer so far. Special thanks for everyone who came out to dance with me and to everyone wasn't there, I hope this recording brings you a bit of the magic we felt that day. "I’ve taken a trip down memory lane for this mix, trying to deep dive into the trance history of the label concentrating on the 2000-2010 era. Tracks like Aalto 'Rush' I remember buying on vinyl in high school and putting them on a mix CD to give to my mates. I remember being shouted at in biology class for not listening because I was listening to OceanLab 'Clear Blue Water' on repeat.

Matt Hardwick used to be the Gatecrasher resident DJ and I really looked up to the guys playing these clubs every week and building warm up sets to get the night ready for the main trance DJs at the time. 'Nimbus' is also my favourite Oliver Smith track. All the other tracks I’ve owned and played, and this 60 mins mix is me trying to create a mosaic of the roots of this great label.
