When I first heard Jonathan's song I immediately wanted to remix it! I made a bootleg first draft and sent him a clip to see what he would think. Thankfully he liked it and agreed to send me the vocal files for me to make an official remix with. I'm super happy with how it came out and grateful for the chance to work with Jonathan. I love the dude's voice, his style, and the heart for God in his lyrics.

Joyful Melody is a song of rejoicing for God's profound forgiveness. There are 2 main verses that are referenced in the lyrics. The first comes from Micah 7:19, where it says "You will cast all our sins to the depths of the sea" and the second reference is from Psalm 103:12, which says "as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us." ..If you reflect on the fact that Jesus cancels our sin-debt so completely, you can't help but offer Him thanksgiving and song! Or as Psalm 95:1 says, "Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!"

This trio of artists are back with a freshly reimagined version of their past collaboration, and this time “Hiding Place” has got an entirely different mood and sound. The original version involved an electronic and playful style, which was well-received and garnered over 2 million streams. But this latest version has a distinctly acoustic and vulnerable quality, which can hopefully allow people to connect with the lyrics in a new way.
