Chris May - Blue Rain

While combining Blues & Folk, the salzburg-based Singer/Songwriter Chris May forges his musical bridge between fingerstyle guitar, his voice and often accompanied from Blues Harp, Didgeridoo and Stompbox. His songs include musical journey’s about life, nature, love and sociocritical topics. His grounded and handmade music reminds of the organic side of nature, originating from the pulsating circulatory of life.

With different open tunings, Chris creates spherical sounds and earthy atmospheres, by using several fingerpicking and slide styles and a range of various and exotic guitars. Instruments like the Weissenborn Lapsteel guitar or the Banjo.
