Modular dreamer, analogue architect - Shun’s immersive sound bends time and genre. As heard on CPU, TRUST, Diffuse Reality & beyond.

Tokyo-based DJ and producer Shun has steadily carved out a name for himself in the global electronic music underground, delivering a singular sound that fuses hypnotic machine funk, acid-soaked textures, and emotionally resonant techno. Active since the late 2010s, Shun’s output balances gritty dancefloor energy with cerebral, futuristic sound design - offering a sonic fingerprint that is both raw and refined.

With releases spanning revered labels such as Central Processing Unit, TRUST, Diffuse Reality, Blackstrobe Records, and Natural Selection, Shun’s discography reflects both range and consistency. His early standout work, including the Steel Garage EP (Blackstrobe Records, 2018) and Dreamland EP (Insult To Injury, 2019), showcased a distinctive blend of industrial, EBM, and electro-rooted aesthetics. Subsequent releases like The Door EP on Central Processing Unit and Early Reflections on Natural Selection further cemented his reputation as a forward-thinking producer within the modern electro and techno circuits.

Not one to be boxed into a single style, Shun has explored everything from minimalist sci-fi electro to dense, percussive techno. Collaborations with artists like AE35 and Human Rebellion, as well as his 2025 Accumulation EP on Science Cult, highlight his collaborative spirit and constant evolution.

Shun is also a sought-after remixer, having reinterpreted tracks for artists including Arnaud Rebotini, Type-303, and Shrinkwrap Killers, each time adding his own signature analog grit and sonic depth. His remix of Accelerated Frequency's “xx Isis xx” on TRUST is a testament to his ability to blur the boundaries between electro, acid, and experimental club music.
Whether performing live, behind the decks, or sculpting sound in the studio, Shun brings a deeply immersive energy rooted in underground culture, modular aesthetics, and a passion for sonic exploration.

Maschine Brennt is the electronic project of Swedish producer Joacim Thenander, active in the scene since the late 1980s. Originally launched in 1991 as a side project to Cultivated Bimbo, Maschine Brennt explores the intersection of man and machine — blending classic ’80s electro aesthetics with modern precision.
After years of producing house, techno, and drum ’n’ bass, the project was revived in 2014 with releases on Plonk, Encrypted Records, Battery Park Studio, Ukonx Recordings, Bass Agenda Recordings, and Connectome Records.
Maschine Brennt has also remixed artists such as The System, Emmon, Kretz, Datapop, and Vogon Poetry, and contributed DJ mixes to Tracklistings, Dark Science Electro, Noise To Meet You, and several editions of Encrypted Transmissions.
This mix reflects his ongoing dedication to deep, machine-driven rhythms — merging dark techno energy with the timeless pulse of the Düsseldorf electro tradition.

Angel Attack is the alias of Raphael Campos, a Brazilian/British producer, DJ, and the founder of House of Reptile Records, as well as a resident DJ at INFRA Boston. Known for his captivating narrative and dynamic tension, Angel Attack blends genres effortlessly, intertwining elements of techno, electro, and beyond with a powerful, cinematic approach. His sets, which span across 3 and 4 decks, display an exceptional mastery of layering, delivering an immersive and complex auditory experience. PULSAR 020 | ANGEL ATTACK

The first time I got introduced to electronical music was during a lesson in music class in 2nd grade back in 1985. Out teacher played the song „Wir sind die Roboter“ („We are the robots“) by Kraftwerk. I immediately got totally hooked by the „new“ sound that hit my ears. And man, those mecanical voices...for a long time I had no clue what or who made them.
More than ten years past by and then I, more by accident, heard something simillar again and got myself some cd´s and records of this kind of music. After a while however it wasn´t enough anymore just to listen to the records recorded by other artists, I just had to start producing electronical music myself. And so I did and still do...
