Vitaly Reznakov is an electronic music artist based in Essex in the UK. A collector of Hip Hop and Electro records from a very early age, he started producing his own music in 1990 with several vinyl releases under various aliases from 1991 until the early 2000's when circumstances lead to a move away from music and into a different artistic career for several years. After rediscovering his passion for making music he has ventured back into the electro scene, so far releasing an 8 track ep on Bandcamp and two releases on Amper Clap's Urban Connections netlabel with more music coming soon.

Which artists has influenced you the most? 

- As a kid in the early 80's I remember listening to Afrika Bambaataa, Twilight 22, Newcleus etc and thinking I want to make music like that one day... when I started producing with an Atari 1040 set up in the early 90's I was listening to Model 500, How and Little, Underground Resistance, Joey Beltram.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 

- I have an ep “Polykube” to be released on Diffuse Reality later this year, and an ep I'm just finishing for another label that I can't disclose details of just yet.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 

- Too many artists to name, my mix should give a good indication of what I'm into... the same goes for labels, but I would say at the moment Cultivated Electronics, Mechatronica, Urban Connections are pretty solid.

What inspires you now to create music? 

- Dystopian sci-fi/horror movies and comics had a big impact on me when I was growing up and are always an inspiration for the feel of a track, but I'm not sure what inspires me on a personal level... I have ideas all the time so I guess just the ability to let other people hear what's going on inside my head is a good feeling.

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- Laptop with Reason 12 and a load of VST plugins... I'm old school so I like the fact I can flip the rack and visually patch instruments and effects together. I still have some original analogue synths (Roland Jupiter 6, Sequential Circuits Pro One) they are not midi'd up, but I sample from them now and then.

MachineFunk is a DJ and producer from Amsterdam. He started out doing illegal techno parties, and during that time got into Electro from the Detroit Techno side. 

He Started producing a few years ago and now explores, researches and produces raw stripped down machine funk.

"Obsolescence" is the antiquation of knowledge and products. What if this concept were to be applied to a variety of areas? For example, people, society, the environment and technology. The concept album " Obsolescence" is Chris Vocoder's gloomy and melancholic reaction to what the world media is reporting. Each song is a short journey accompanied by syncopated rhythms, dynamic LoFi sounds and cold pads. Electro music with a message.

Revenge

The first time I got introduced to electronical music was during a lesson in music class in 2nd grade back in 1985. Out teacher played the song „Wir sind die Roboter“ („We are the robots“) by Kraftwerk. I immediately got totally hooked by the „new“ sound that hit my ears. And man, those mecanical voices...for a long time I had no clue what or who made them.
More than ten years past by and then I, more by accident, heard something simillar again and got myself some cd´s and records of this kind of music. After a while however it wasn´t enough anymore just to listen to the records recorded by other artists, I just had to start producing electronical music myself. And so I did and still do...
