Was seeing Jeroen Tel and Matt Gray remaking their old C64 tunes, as well as some Galway remakes from Gray, which I all love btw.

I already had this 'Mr Nord' setup lying around from previous track, so I just couldn't resist and try to recreate the magic from Martin Galway's Parallax title screen epic for myself.

I tried to stay true to the original as much as possible. Even play the original in the intro and outro as a backing track. But almost all elements are recreated on the Nord Lead 2x, as well as some additions and tricks from the Easily Embarrassed library to make it more of a 2015 worthy track.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This is variation number 3 on a game theme from the 80's. This is another lockdown mood day - just after a warm day.

Variation number 4 from game theme, Crazy lockdown mood, creates this in 15/8. More video game style, so you go with the flow.

This is variation number 5. A different mood from lockdown. I like the mood of this, and someone should add a video to it!  And it's still based on an 80's game theme.

I was asked many years ago to write a piece that was impossible to play. The ideas was to take it and put it on a piano roll. Not sure what ever happened with it. It uses a lot of ostinato and minimalist ideas - some good, some not so good. This was rendered using Sibelius and a piano VST.

This was done for the film Bedroom to Billions. This mix features some really great guitar playing from Chris Garfield, on a magical session where everything just flowed. The guitar work in the background is a bit Fripp influenced - well that's what I suggested at the time! And Max did a great job on this track and the project.
