Vanished Voidness - Jungle Drive (original CD track)

Very first track of my new album Unbeloved Universe (still under construction). 135 bpm and ready to be danced and just enjoyed. Half of the sounds come from my new favorite toy: NAVE by Waldorf - one of the best synthis on iPad with incredible possibilities to create unusal sounds and effects. I can recommend it to try it out.

Unbeloved Universe - Asteroids Dance

Inspired by a visit of the Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco and listening to older black jewish music I’ve heard “Dunkin Bagel” by the Slim Gaillard Quartet from 1945, I was quite sure I’ve to make a remix of this great song, which swings in it’s very own way. Here is it! I have combined this swinging, jazzy sound with own harmonies and rhythm. Enjoy und relax :-).

Unbeloved Universe - Dunkin Bagel Remix

This composition is a Downtempo track which tries to combine modern harmonies and rhythm with a sound and voice remix of an old Bette Davis Movie "The Man Who Came To Dinner" of 1942. The Voice track tells an uncompleted story of upcoming trouble because of complicated relationships of men... "Take a listen" and enjoy! 

Unbeloved Universe - Here Comes Trouble

This track is based on an idea discussed with friends who thought after 25 years of the reunion of both parts of Germany we should remember the manifestation of the iron curtain by the Berlin Wall and its peaceful fall 1989. At the 3rd of October 2014 we will celebrate the German reunification and we should be proud of it. It’s not only a lucky day for the Germans; it’s one for the whole mankind. 

You will hear three original voices which belong very basically to the Berlin Wall and it’s history:

1. “Niemand hat die Absicht eine Mauer zu errichten”  (“No one has the intention to build a wall") was a sentence of Walter Ulbricht, head of state and socialist party of the GDR spoken at a press conference June 15, 1961. Just two month later the GDR begun to build the Berlin Wall...

2. “And therefor as a free man I take pride in the words ‘Ich bin ein Berliner’!”, this was a historical sentence of John F. Kennedy at June 26, 1963 from the Rathaus Schöneberg in Berlin.

3. “Mr. Gorbachov, tear down this wall” has been taken from a speech of Ronald Reagan June 27, 1987 in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Almost two years before his wish come true...

Liebe Freunde! Wir feiern am 03. Oktober 2014 den 25. Jahrestag des Falls der Berliner Mauer und der Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands. Das war für mich der Anlass, diesen Track zu komponieren und ich hoffe sehr, dass er Euch gefällt!


Unbeloved Universe - Tear Down This Wall (25th Anniversary Fall Of Berlin Wall)

This track is inspired by a Japanese gameshow found at YouTube some month ago. Subject of this show is to guess terms by watching words with blanked out letters and by showing symbols and pictures to give hints for the candidates. This seems to be easy but the setting is the complete opposite: The candidates stand in front of a wall with shifting bricks; every wrong answer will decrease their space to stand save and sometime the first candidate will fall into the deep... 

I found that setting typically for the Japanese style of entertainment and – no doubt – I was intended to make a track about it. Please consider: I don’t understand a single Japanese Word, so I hope the combination of the phrases do halfway any sense ;-) ...

This time it is a dance track with 130 bpm and an easy adoptable groove. Enjoy it!

Technical facts:
Produced with Cubase 7.5. All synth sounds either by the great Zebra 2 by U-He or Waldorf’s NAVE (iPad App).

Unbeloved Universe - Japanese Gameshow

This track is dedicated to all the boat people all around the world, hoping to see “silhouettes of land” as signs for rescue and hope for a better life. It is a shame how many countries do almost everything to avoid any footstep of refugees on their ground and disown any responsibilities for unfairness in the world.

Beyond the political statement some info about the production:
Except of the percussion all sounds has been generated by Zebra 2 of  U-He. For me one of the best Soft Synthis ever...


Silhouettes Of Land

This is an experimental track with no special theme or idea behind. Started with environmental noise and other sound material I wanted to give all the dis-harmonic vibes an additional harmonic melody which builds a contrast to the child’s laughing. All instruments come again out of the great U-he Zebra 2 soft-synthesizer...

Unbeloved Universe - Legalized Laughing

After watching several vintage TV advertising spots (I love them!) I found one about a home camera system by Kodak which is offered by arguments, why taking moving pictures is so better than only taking classical stills. These arguments sounds funny today because in the new age of Selfies so many people shoot photographs and movies everywhere, every time. Here some excerpts from the advertising text:

Camera Land is all around you, wherever you go, what ever you do.
And it’s full of the fun, that’s wont stand still.
The fun it’s just made for movie.
Because movies tell a story as no other pictures can.
Step by Step a life-like story, that’s so easy to make and so wonderful to see.
Right know your Dealer has a world of new movie cameras, to help you capture all action and colour – and new movie projectors too.
You find that movies as just as easy to take a snapshot!

This track is produced by Cubase 7.5 and several software synthesizers. Of course – with Zebra 2 (by U-He) but also with Kairatune – a well-sounding monophonic synth with surprisingly clear output. The Vocoder effect has been generated by MVocoder plugin.

Composed in the very hot summer of Germany 2015. Produced with Cubase 7.5 and several softsynth’s of my choice.

A track something between Trance und Chillout with the intension to give a good feeling and let you dream about palms and beaches and white sand.

Unbeloved Universe - Cicadas In Trance

This track is dedicated to all refugees currently coming to Europe – hoping to escape terror, persecution, starvation and hopelessness... The composition was inspired by a great TV documentation about Nelson Mandela and his fight for overcoming borders in minds; those we all keep up to avoid leaving our own comfort zone. But – as Mandela said – “We have to overcome the mistrust that exists on both sides” and “The only victory that exists is the victory of all people as a whole and not the victory of one party over another...”. I hope you go agree with it!

The track is composed in House style and uses several soft synthies and effects. Enjoy – and if you like – dance!

Unbeloved Universe - Mandelas Track (I Can See You)

I am a composer and musician of contemporary electronic music. I don’t want to be pigeonholed for a concrete genre and want to let my audience make a decision.

Over the years, so much music was in my mind. Compositions, which had to be implemented. A first part of it can be found on my first album "Vanished Voidness"; some samples you can listen here at Mixcloud the rest at Spotify, iTunes etc.

My music is influenced by the pleasure of playing with harmonies and contradicted tones. They tell little stories and be varied. Do I have achieved that? I’m looking forward for your postings.
