Hello Kompliz*innen,

wir haben eine ganze Weile nichts von uns hören lassen. Durch unseren Corona-Alltag und wegen privater Verpflichtungen, hatten wir bisher in 2021 noch weniger Zeit für a.cepa und Partyplanungen, als wir es bereits im allseits nicht gemochten 2020 hatten. Kurzzeitig bestand der Gedanke eine Gartenparty im Mainusch zu schmeißen doch dann mussten wir feststellen, dass wir mental noch nicht so weit sind und uns zurzeit auf andere Dinge fokussieren müssen. Also haben wir unseren Termin wieder freigegeben und verschieben unsere Hoffnung auf ein Wiederaufblühen unserer Leidenschaft um ein weiteres Jahr.  Um nicht komplett in Vergessenheit zu geraten und um euch wenigstens in unregelmäßigen Zeitabständen mit gutem Sound zu versorgen, präsentieren wir euch a.cepacast#7 von BI:NO:

BI:NO hat nun seit 1,5 Jahren auf keiner Party mehr gespielt. In dieser Zeit hat er sich aber viel mit Mixing und Platten-sammeln beschäftig. Durch sein neues Lebensumfeld in Berlin kam er immer mehr mit dem Sound der 90er und frühen 2000er Jahre in Kontakt. BI:NOs Plattensammlung wird so wie seine Vorfreude auf ein Party-Comeback von Tag zu Tag größer. Irgendwann muss alles raus und bis dahin lässt er seine Energie in a.cepacast#7 fließen. Smoothe Vinyl-only Party-Tunes aus dem Friedrichshainer Plattenbau!

Lights Out brings you an exclusive premiere from the new Brazilian uplifting dance music label Macro Hits. Founded by Amanda Mussi and Ananda (two DJs from Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, respectively, who have been at the forefront of the Brazilian rave scene). Their quest for tracks that fitted their intended musical target: groovy and made for the dancefloor tunes rather than those for hiding moodily in a corner.

Vernano, meaning Summer in Spanish, is a perfect name for this cut of melodic and Detroit-inspired techno. Perfect for those day parties or sunrise sets.
