A mainstay of the progressive scene and a core member of the onedotsixtwo family since day one, Chris has delivered four unforgettable releases that helped shape our sonic identity. Now, for our milestone 100th release, he brings a stunning trifecta of originals “Shadows,” “Moodfunk,” and “Tangent” each one pulsing with the finesse and melodic intelligence that have made him a DJ favourite for decades. Deep grooves, atmospheric textures, and effortless flow Chris at his most refined. 

But the celebration doesn’t stop there… 

We’ve brought in two of the most exciting remixers from opposite corners of the globe to reimagine this material through their own visionary lenses: 

UnBrokenOne (UK), a producer steadily carving out a name across Europe’s underground, delivers a mesmerising reinterpretation of “Moodfunk”, blending progressive depth with subtle rhythmic tension a warm, cerebral journey designed for the late-night floors. 

Nicolas Benedetti (Argentina), known for his work with labels like Sound Avenue and Dreamers, steps up with a sublime remix of “Tangent”, injecting it with a Latin pulse and intricate musicality that reflects the soul of Buenos Aires after dark. Already on the radar of global tastemakers, this remix announces Benedetti as one of South America’s most intriguing progressive voices.

Chris Cargo started his production career in the late 1990s, and has been at the forefront within the electronic music scene ever since. 
He is best known for his Progressive , Deep and Melodic House vibes.
Chris has released a wealth of gems (almost 200 productions) on seminal Progressive House labels: Mara’s ‘Choo Choo’, Renaissance, Automatic Records, Whoop, Armada Music and Kosmo not to mention an original artist album.
Chris has always gained consistent support for his many varied club releases from DJ giants such as Digweed, Cox, Cattaneo, Howells, Lawler, Warren and Garnier etc.
He is a multi talented DJ and producer who has regularly been on tour with Renaissance, Smirnoff, Tennents, Kent Tobacco and the like, many of which have seen Chris ply his wares on several large scale tours around China, USA, Russia and South America.
As a DJ, Chris has travelled the world wowing the crowds in Shanghai to Zurich, Amsterdam to Moscow, Kuala Lumpur to Paris docking in over 60 countries along the way including Siberia, Portugal, Kazakhstan, Finland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Malaysia, China, Mexico.
In addition, his music has appeared on many compilations such as Renaissance, Intec, Seb Fontaine,Danny Howells, Valentino Kanzyani, Anthony Pappa, Slinky, Priviledge-Ibiza, Global Underground and has had major BBC Radio 1 plays and multiple reviews in publications such as  Mixmag & DJ Magazine.
A host of new productions for labels such as The Soundgarden, Plattenbank, FSOE UV, ICONYC, Soundteller Recordings, Sprout Music, Fall From Grace & Mango Alley and his own If You Wait Music to name just a few, with 2 Beatport Hype chart number one’s it’s easy to see why he has seen been described as one of the “genre’s original innovators” by Progressive Astronaut, a “pioneer of Progressive House” by Change Underground and “a legend” by Release Promo.
