After watching a video tutorial by frankjavcee I decided to put together a quick track. I tried to keep things simple while learning a few things so there will be no epic drops. All in all the track is not super great but I had fun making it and I hope its worth your two minutes. 

Antisocial Robots

A few summers ago, I got pulled into going skydiving with a bunch of friends from college. I had (or thought I did, anyway) a fear of heights and the whole concept was freaking me out. It was something I would never consider doing, and honestly wouldn't have done if it weren't for my friends.

It ended up being totally amazing, and an opposite experience from what I expected. It was a rush, yes, but I honestly felt so peaceful floating in the sky.

I wanted to try to capture that experience in music. The emotions leading up to it (Play it Cool), the excitement on the plane (Adrenaline), and the peace and awe in the sky (On My Way). It was one of the more important experiences in my life because I learned I could still surprise myself. It was a form of a rite of passage for me (A Journey in Time).

That said, the title and theme are also metaphorical to me and carry some deeper meaning that I was going to write about. But instead, I'd rather keep to myself as I think the songs should find their meaning from the listener, not from the writer :)
