For our seventh installment of our Free Download Series we welcome the scottish artist heading from Glasgow: Chris Colford.

With strong influences from the groovy & hypnotic sounds of techno made famous in the European clubbing circuit; Chris combines a usage of raw and minimal elements in his productions.Whilst playing some of Scotland’s most famous venues and clubs renowned throughout the scene such as Sub Club, La Cheetah, Room 2, Symbol, Dannsa and Club 69, he has shown a mature output of productions which highlight his own distinct sound from his influences. With a plethora of releases, club appearances and more within 2024, Chris embarks on what is set to be a very important one for the artist.

Here we are... The first compilation of our Various Artists series is now up.

For this very first edition of the, we've gathered 14th promising artists of the groove scene. Swerving from ghetto ryhtms, dubby sounds, raw & hypnotic to upfront, funky and straight forward tunes, GRRVVA001 is an ode to the groove scene's musical diversity and eclecticism found nowadays.

We would like to thank everyone who's been following the label so far through the FDL series or the G.R. mixes, as well as all participants and producers for their artistic contribution to those releases that have built the most recent part of our imprint the last 6months!
