The Manitoban  - Part 2

Aram Tahmasebi, also known as "Raawii", was born in Tehran with a deep appreciation for Traditional Iranian music. As he matured, his musical horizons expanded to Rock and Electronic music during his high school years. This newfound passion led him to collect an eclectic range of music, forging the foundation for his future endeavors.

Later, while working as a professional Photographer/Cinematographer, his passion for music led to curating playlists, which he shared at friendly gatherings with his trusty iPod Classic. This marked the early steps of his journey as a music enthusiast and propelled him into the realm of DJing, where he began to share his curated sounds with a wider audience at private underground parties.

Over time, Aram elevated his dedication to further expand his dance music taste under the moniker "Raawii". His unmistakable penchant for Techno, Electro, and, Breakbeat infused with touches of Melodic, Hypnotic, Experimental, Acid, and Minimal sounds, creates a dynamic musical landscape.

Beyond the beats, Raawii's philosophy encompasses a profound desire to evoke emotions and tell stories. inviting listeners on a journey of sonic exploration, introspection, and connection.

When The End Comes, Everything Will Be Brighten

I originally wrote Peninsula on an acoustic guitar whilst camping near the sea on the west coast of Scotland. I have always found playing music a very comfortable way of expressing how i feel, often i write something and during the process find myself engaging with particular topics or emotions in my life that i didn’t realise were there. It is as if the sub-conscious connection between my brain and an instrument is a more honest expression of how i feel than my conscious thoughts. Peninsula was one of those songs.
