NovaMute welcome @dj_anna for the Brazilian producer’s first EP on the seminal imprint. 

"It’s such an honor to be working with @novamutenovamute. Daniel is a legend and a few years ago I’d never even imagined this would ever happen, such are the happy coincidences in life! Now we’re here and Razor EP is done and it all feels a bit surreal."

The first track ‘Razor' was born while playing with her MKS-80 from Roland, an old synth from 1985 and one of ANNA’s favourite. You can hear the fat and juicy sound on the breakdown and ever evolving throughout. The track has already been getting a great reaction when played out in her sets.

In what has been an incredibly successful 2018 for Jon Hopkins; from the release of his critically acclaimed album, 'Singularity', to sold-out worldwide touring, today Hopkins is happy to share a heavy-hitting remix of the album’s title track by ANNA - one of techno’s most captivating and in-demand new producers.

After cutting her teeth in clubs around Sao Paolo from the age of 14, ANNA has slowly risen to be one of the scene’s most respected names, with releases on the likes of Kompakt and NovaMute, along with support from Sven Väth, Marcel Dettmann and Richie Hawtin to name a few.

Building on the original track, the 'Singularity' remix blends rugged techno and transcendent electronics, which mirrors the pinnacle of the album’s motion, delivering a claustrophobic yet uplifting energy. Arguably one of ANNA’s strongest releases to date.

ANNA’s remix of ‘Singularity’ drops on Domino on Friday 16th November.

Adult Swim have just released a new album by Atlanta producer and DJ Chris Devoe. With The Moon, expounds on Devoe’s signature surreal and earthy sound by marrying dance-inducing beats with ethereal voices, weaving a vibrant tapestry of hip-hop and electronica that echoes with nostalgia,love, loss, and family. It’s a catalyst for movement— both physical and mental— as well as a prism of musical styles Devoe has consumed and cultivated through the years. The album’s long list of guest collaborators stands as a testament to his creative agility, including contributions from fellow Atlanta and New York-based artists including Prefuse 73, Helado Negro, Zano Bathroom, pumashock, Kara Strauss, Ben Davis, Nate Sadler, and Ryan Rasheed.

Devoe is a prolific creator, from live performance and studio recordings to side projects and collaborations. A self-taught musician, Devoe has developed a knowledge of acoustic instrumentation and digital production technique that imbues organic texture to his distinctive, experimental style—rooted in classic jazz LPs and soul 45s, shaped by a lifelong pursuit of diverse music and art, and driven by an appetite for exploration. As a veteran DJ, he bridges the underground hip-hop, indie, and experimental camps of the Atlanta music scene and beyond via international tours for the music label Arepaz/Beta Bodega Coalition (who released a collection of his several of his EPs). For nearly a decade, he was the opening DJ for Adult Swim’s annual Upfront concert event with featured headliners such as Outkast, Jay Z, Kanye West, Drake, Miley Cyrus, T.I., and Nicki Minaj.
