The fifth and final chapter of the Raíces series marks the closing of a profound cycle — a journey that has explored the dialogue between sound and Nature, rhythm and remembrance. Raíces V gathers four artists whose works intertwine ancestral resonance and contemporary sonic architecture, tracing the invisible thread that connects the organic with the electronic.

Each piece unfolds as a ritual of grounding: deep techno pulses meet ancient drums, acoustic textures, and echoes of the living earth. In times of uncertainty, these sounds act as roots — anchoring us, reminding us of the fertile stillness beneath movement.

Curated by Aleja Sánchez, the release features new works from Vand, Vardae, Dino Sabatini and her own composition, closing a series dedicated to honoring music as both a spiritual language and a return to origin.

Indefinite Pitch PREMIERES. Dino Sabatini - Luz de Piedra [Northallsen]

Mary Yuzovskaya's Monday Off rounds out 2025 with its eighth vinyl-only various artists compilation, arriving 12th December, featuring Feph, Rasser, Mathys Lenne, and Xhato.

Opening the record is Florida's Feph, co-operator of Alchemista Records and Zosimos, with 'A Realization', where wild electric currents crackle over a subtle, sharp beat as shocks and zaps scatter into the darkness. Spanish DJ and producer Rasser follows with 'Constant Pulse', a hulking techno chugger of warped rhythms and hammering metallic hits.

On the flip, France-born Germany-based Mathys Lenne, known for outings on Mord, ORBE, and Blue Hour, offers 'A Gentle Singularity', its tumbling percussion and drone-like synth casting a hypnotic spell while sparkling high-end shimmers above. Previous Monday Off contributor Xhato then closes with 'Lemon Swirl', a mystical finisher where soft sequences snake through brooding ambience, providing a guiding light as the kick drum marches resolutely.

Solarythm - Passage

The term annex typically describes a structure joined to a main building, offering extra space or function. In this spirit, Tresor Records revives the ANNEX series with a new end-of-year collection that serves as an extension of the label and club’s output, adding to the creative life that has unfolded within Köpenicker Str. 70 over the past years.

Since the club moved in 2007, the Kraftwerk complex has been repurposed from its original use as a power station to fulfil multiple functions that bring people together to collaborate and congregate: Office, venue, club, exhibition space, and home to the Berlin Atonal festival, the Tresor Foundation, and the Academy of Subcultural Understanding. With the arrival of the Hard Wax record shop in 2023, the building now offers another way for the like-minded to come together and to share ideas in a common space.

ANNEX echoes the many roles of the building by fostering introduction, connection, and creation: all of the music within was created by individuals directly linked to Tresor: from club staff and residents to Hard Wax employees and long-time friends.

Across 28 tracks, the compilation unites artists from various backgrounds and generations, some collaborating for the first time, creating a moment in motion as Tresor heads into a new year.

ANNA Z sets the tone with 'Kabeljau', an eclectic, IDM-flirting workout. On the opening track, elastic rhythms stretch and snap while ethereal pads drift overhead, punctured by sudden turns and glitchy surprises. Moody, weird and beautifully unpredictable. Dajusch continues with 'Fallout', diving into shimmering Detroit-inspired chords and pristine production. Clean yet full of soul, its dreamy propulsion moves with effortless optimism. It's a track that lifts heads and hearts without ever losing its club focus. Flip the record and FJAAK welcome you into a breakbeat-infused haze. 'Your Time' pairs groovy percussion and airy atmospheres with those unmistakable powerhouse vocal chops, a warehouse anthem with a gentle cosmic touch, driving yet deeply emotional. Closing the EP, Claus accelerates the pulse. 'Moist Logic' is a faster, more urgent exploration of the techno continuum. With SPANDAU20 011, the West-Berlin collective celebrates a hybrid future, rhythmically adventurous, melodically rich and rooted in a love for the dancefloor's most timeless emotions. This record combines Berlin grit with dream-state techno, balancing rough energy and refined emotion across four cuts that leave their mark on the floor.
