This started life at a much faster tempo and in D.
I slowed it down, switched to B flat, and this is the result.

Song For Rebecca

A track from the album Notebook. This started life as a pure improvisation, and the more I tried to wrestle it into something more structured the less I liked it.

In the end I kept the original theme and left most of the improvisation intact. Although it is perhaps less coordinated this way, to me it feels more whole.

A Minor Improv

My submission to the collaboration challenge "A Bouquet of Flowers" for The Piano Cloud group.

I was inspired by the image I've used for this improvisation, and wanted to capture the darkness of the background, the velvet texture of the petals, and the feeling of raindrops.

Suddenly the 60 second limit seemed like a very short time!
