Another fun take on a classic hip hop track, this time early 90's Dj Polo and Kool G Rap's 'Ill Street Blues' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxysgIzX3Ps) mixed with a heavily chopped cut from one of my favourite producers of all time Quincy Jones. Kool G Rap's flow is amazing and his narrative of the seamy underbelly of daily life being a goon for hire in pre-Giuliani New York seemed to fit so well with this theatrical funk sequence.   

Props to the man Keith in Montreal for suggesting the acapella.

First track off my work in progress mashup album of Bob Marley vs Big L. 

This also features B.I.G and O.D.B, (dead poets society CAPital punishment division) 
Got much props for killing corrupt cops with buckshots.

Maximum respect, blessings and everlasting peace to all these amazing artists who are sadly no longer with us.

This would definitely benefit from an improved final mix and master, but this is about as good as I'm gonna get it sounding right now, any feedback on levels, bass frequency, eq, reverb etc.much appreciated, I've gotta start learning this side of music properly.

Cuts and drum programming are mine, backing track basically follows the original which is why the bpm is kind of fluid.
