I wrote this back when The Division came out. I was obsessed with the story (which ended up being empty as heck. but the potential was mega), and the soundtrack as well. I had always wanted to do a concept album based on a created story of my own based in the division universe, but never got back to it.

The Division - Days of Dark WInter (Fan Made)

I wrote this based on some drone music I had been listening to back a few years ago, no metronome, and purposely leaning into and away from the 1 of the next bar to just kinda pull it in different directions, and make it feel a bit unchained from a locked tempo, in the more extreme sense of the word.

Originally inspired by J Dillas incredible beatwork, just a small idea that I never took anywhere. Still love the bass and electronic elements of it though, mixing with the other instruments.

Lazy Hop

This is a really, really old idea, and I actually recorded it on a 4 track I think. Not my own, but a friend had lent me it, and years laters I went back, tried layering in some voices to thicken the overall sound, not to sound like voices, which is probably why you won't hear them. Nice idea, but that's all.

Happy Happy Lads

This is part of a Nils Frahm track, played in a different key, and it was more an experiment for the piano sound itself which I was creating at the time. Blending it with my own voice and trying out some aesthetic choices.

MOSE

This old track sampled some other super old track which I cannot remember the name of, and I blended quite a lot into it, the original was an orchestral concert piece, and yeah.. went far away from that direction as the song goes on. I never really took it anywhere which is a shame, but love the sound choices I made for some bits.
