Only the realest will remember Kumbale, the German label relentlessly promoting global bass music a decade ago. It's a real trip down memory lane to recall all the names who graced their early releases - among them you'd find Erick Jaimez, Andrés Digital, Chuck Upbeat, Pablo Pachacutik and even the late Sumohair who tragically passed away a few years ago. It was also Kumbale that published the first album by Mexican producer Alfonso Luna, a Monterrey-born pioneer of the tribal prehispánico movement. Now, exactly ten years later, Luna returns with 'Neolitico', an EP that champions his sound - deeply rooted in ancestral storytelling yet designed for modern dancefloors, bridging ancient rhythms and contemporary club energy. The new release arrives via Rebote Discoteca, the label run by jaijiu who was introduced to Alfonso by Argentinian producer Prisma, who himself makes a guest appearance on the EP alongside his longtime collaborators Dengue Dengue Dengue.
