Lebron - Cdj Set  for RadioFG

I don't even know where to start.... it sure has been a minute. If  you care to find out my excuse why it has been so long since the last show then read the end of this note. For now the important stuff - the music. It's still here and I am not stopping. I missed doing a radio show so much and even if I wasn't planning on doing one this past weekend i got inspired by listening to some Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz while working. I dug into my digital and vinyl crate and found some nice jams that I called Much-Room Pzazz ha ha

That is the first hour but then I couldn't stop from steering into my beloved House Music - so yeah, from 95bpm to 125 :)

If you are just happy the music is back you can stop reading now. If you wonder why I had to take a break this is why:

As some of you know my real career is a VFX Artist. I had been freelancing for years but since the pandemic everything changed. I was still working at my home studio but certainly not like I was before. That is until the beginning of this year when a company reached out to me to offer me a position as an animator.  This was a full time job with all the benefits that comes with it. They were just not very clear on who it was for until my second interview when they told me it was for Facebook at their LA studio. Facebook is certainly not going away tomorrow and they offered me a really nice deal so with out hesitation I said yes. They actually offered me the lead animator position which means I get to oversee and collaborate with the animators that work for our group in other cities around the world. 

It is an incredible opportunity that I couldn't pass up. After working these last few months with them I have to say that I couldn't be happier. The people I work with are incredibly talented professionals from the production and post production industry who make me look forward going to work everyday (even if it's fully remote - working from home for now). You can understand why there was no radio shows as I was settling in my new role. Now that I am more at ease I'm hoping to return to the regular weekly schedule for the show. Even if I don't it certainly won't be months between episodes. For those who stuck around, THANK  YOU! Since my car accident at the beginning of 2018 and the pandemic right after, the show has certainly seen its up and down. But you know what? Our beloved music is still there.
