This is a rough mix of one of the finished songs for my upcoming album - yep, I'm spilling it all over the place! Recorded on only 4 tracks of analog tape. I also made my fretless bass sound as much like a synth bass as was possible.

It's Right In Front Of You

From my 4th 2022 album "Bossa Novish", here's a quick little number with oddly cryptic lyrics. What is "The Doot"? In my world, doot is short for "duty", and the song is about any mundane task that you must do every day, whether you feel like it or not.

I'm a songwriter, singer, piccolo bassist, bassist, drummer, mediocre keyboardist, crappy guitarist, and recording engineer all in one convenient person.  I put the "mental" in "multi-instrumentalist".

I record my songs all by myself because nobody else can stand working with me.
