This was closing the summer season, and a phase of my life where I spent the majority of my time in Egypt, and making way to a new stage of my life where I will be in Dubai more.

Sergio Faktor's My Flower and Riccardo Cepollina's Stub come together for an immersive delivery in "Aura" as they make their much-anticipated W debut. An astounding two-track EP, My Flower & Staub's "Aura" stretches beyond the confines of traditional dancefloors in search of something more, as the Italian pair traverse through limits with astonishing ease, enravelling themselves in colors and sounds that lie somewhere in the depths of imagination.

Unique from the get-go, the first collaboration, "Aura", unravels over shivering acidic frequencies that run amok through our mid-range before a low-end pulse starts coursing across the piece. Sharply, a left-field turn uncovers swelling neon tides that lead to a tantalizing new direction where gated synthetics imbue the piece with a sense of grit. Luscious, yet feral, "Aura" walks a fine line as mischievous machinations move cogs and gears in unthinkable ways, taking us for a futuristic night drive as we sway into a sublime break were carbonated shards interlock with corrosive synths and ethereal vocal musings, allowing for tension to rise, before colliding together for an explosive third act.

The EP is completed by My Flower & Staub's second gem, "Primordio", a state-of-the-art design that burns its own trail with complete disregard for genres or sonic borders. Venturing inside this hybrid, dubbed out stabs immediately set the tone as abrasive razors sway in and out, cutting everything across its path with expert precision. Meanwhile, vocal apparitions come alive in the dusk, working in tandem with bubbling synthetics that surge to the fore, creating a dazzling menagerie of aural frequencies that ebb and flow to their own will. Aggressive, yet emotionally charged, "Primordio" enthralls listeners with every twist and turn, pulling at all the right strings with consummate intention.
