Nostalgia is about being in a long term relationship and actually being nostalgic for the person you’re in the relationship with- thinking about the honey-moon phase before any cause of emotional dissonance and distress. Usually this form of escapism is over romanticized and the mundane realism gets left out. Being in a 4 year relationship can do that.
