This is an original composition dedicated to a friend.  Its for her birthday. It's also a musical homage to her former home;  a bright & cosy wood sided cottage perched on a ledge above the Salish Sea with a spectacular view of the Coast Mountain range beyond;  her sanctuary for over 15 years.  Alas, the maintenance became a burden and regrettably the time came to bid a final farewell to her
special shangri-La.

Gale's Tango

This is a lost gem of 21 year old Bonnie Raitt singing Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock".  Recorded in March 1971 at the Jabberwocky Club in the basement of the cafeteria at Syracuse University. The gig was recorded by WAER radio but was never released as one of her albums.  Its considered a bootleg and hard to find.  Many current music stars like James Taylor played here because WAER would do the broadcasts "live" to the New York area.

Dark & Cold

The deeper I dive into the creative arts (music playing, painting, drawing, writing) the more I've unraveled the tangled web of questions around "life's purpose".  In other words - its a lifelong quest for truth, authenticity and some clarity as to my usefulness within this weird, volatile, hostile, dysfunctional home we call Planet Earth. The arts offer a neutral space to retreat into and to breathe fresh air before returning to the fray.
