I am working on my 5th Symphony, this is a segment about a nightmare.

The nightmare: Preview to Excerpt#6 from Symphony No.5

Back when you were younger, you used to dream a lot
But now that you’re older you sit around and rot.
Things were better then, you can make them so again.
You know what you’ve  gotta do. It’s totally up to you.

You’ve gotta try your best to make the most of each and every day.
You gotta to  act like the sun is shining even when the sky is grey.
You need to put a smile on your sad looking miserable face.
You gotta try to stop hitting a home run every time
 and maybe settle for first base

You used to play upon the grass and frolic in the sun.
Life was so much simpler then 

you’d only just begun
You really miss those days you want to regain your carefree ways
it’s totally up to you and there’s one thing you can do.

It does you no good for you to sit around and mope
Every day you’re above ground is still a reason to have hope.
Tomorrow may never come but today is a sure thing.
Like a scene in a Hollywood musical 
some times you just got to stop and sing.

You’ve gotta try your best to make the most of each and every day.
