This is my second single for my forthcoming album. The track was inspired by playing around with an instrument called the 'Tape Delay Experiment' by Christian Henson for Pianobook . Whack on a bunch of reverb and hey presto 😃

This is a demo featuring Christian Henson's Claustrophobia Piano for Pianobook. What a delight - such an intimate sound! Also features Southsea Glimmer by Jacob Maloney providing some low end and a few LABS instruments for good measure. Fairly rough production but you get the point. Check out PianoBook!

Although it appears first on the EP, it was the last track I wrote for it. The name comes from that fact it's the first track on my first EP of commercially released original music, but also looking to evoke a sense of unity, in a world where the opposite is so prevalent, especially now. 
For the music makers out there, apart from the guitar tracks, the whole track uses strictly Spitfire LABS instruments, which are available for free from Spitfire Audio.

Rathan

A slight change of orbit, this is a solo piano track, no accompanying sounds. Bob Dylan said in the documentary "you always have to realize you're in a state of becoming. And, as long as you can stay in that realm, you'll sort of be alright". Wise words of course, but I also think of this on a cosmic scale and had these ideas floating around when writing this piece. I hope you enjoy it.

It's a lovely sounding piano... warm, rich and quite a soft tone across most of the keyboard. No EQ or compression used here, only some reverb. This piece hopefully demonstrates this.

Step Forth - Steinway Grand - Pianobook

Welcome to my SoundCloud page - thanks for stopping by! I'm a Scottish music artist and enthusiast living in Bristol, UK. Music has been a lifetime study of mine manifesting itself in writing production music, various commissions (mostly in the equine scene) and playing drums/keys in bands including the 4-piece covers band 'Three Scots and a Barman'.
