Chris’s new single “Love’s Big Machine” pulses with raw energy and real, human heart. The single, written, recorded, and produced by Chris with producing partner Thomas Bailey (Maxeen, Delcroy), is both cacophonous and subdued. The lyrics celebrate the endless tumble of life, exploring themes of connection and isolation, with love as the driving force at the center. Part soundscape, part alt-rock-epic, “Love’s Big Machine” blends beauty and chaos in a unique, radio-friendly rock anthem.

This is a demo of an unfinished track that features a wonderful friend and inspiring musician, Pat Close on drums. Pat had been courageously battling cancer as I've been trying to finish the piece, but ultimately PC (as he was known to all who loved him) passed on 21 October, 2023. Pat had heard the song in various stages of completion, but not recently. I've laid down a reference vocal and did a quick mix as a tribute to him. Hopefully, the final version which is forthcoming, will be worthy of his friendship and musicianship.

Chris Luke is a writer and music industry veteran with a knack for creating alluring, cinematic worlds through song. With wildly diverse taste and talent, Chris is both introverted and open-hearted, backed by a successful career history penning sync hits for major TV shows including Fox’s Beverly Hills 90210 and Robin’s Hoods, Aussie series Paradise Beach, and ABC’s McKenna. He also co-wrote and co-performed the track “I Want to Believe in You,” which was featured in the 2021 film The Girl Who Believes in Miracles.
